“The Sea”

When you first wake up, roll over, and begin to check your messages before you have even lifted your body from the bed (yeah I know it is a horrible habit of mine)…. BUT…. when as an artist, you see the words “SOLD”, you wake up real quick!! LOL And then, well, ok at 45…you mentally start dancing until you have had a chance to R-O-L-L-L-L-L out of bed!! Anyhoo, one learns to have patience when creating any type of art. Sometimes you are fortunate enough to have one sell before the paint dries and then other times, it finds its “perfect” home three years later. And when you learn where it is going and find out that it is to a buyer that recently just purchased another painting of your’s- that is the most amazing feeling ever!! On cloud nine? Yes, I am!!!

I am so happy to share that this piece, “The Sea” has found its new home in Las Vegas!

“Jacksonville Aviation Authority Interview”

Thank you to both Greg Willis and Wendi Howard of Jacksonville Aviation Authority for taking the time to interview me about my work currently being displayed in the Haskell Gallery at JIA. “Arbus Magazine- May/June Issue”

May/June 2016 Issue

“Haskell Gallery Exhibition at the Jacksonville International Airport”

That moment when after walking away from the safety net of the cubicle to chase your dreams, the countless prayers, sweat and tears, the roller coaster of emotions, the lack of sleep.. And then this happens!! I mean omg, It’s officially happening!! Yahoo! The expression of being “a mixed bag of emotions” doesn’t even begin to explain what I am feeling right now. To say that I am beyond excited… Uh.. absolutely!!

My paintings are on display and if you happen to be flying out of Jacksonville in the next few months, stop by and take a look! In the meantime, here is a sneak peek into the exhibit.

I can’t begin to thank all of those who have stood by me to make this happen!

Then there is this!! Yahoo!! I am over the moon excited that I can share this with everyone! My paintings will be on display April-June 2016 in the Haskell Gallery at the Jacksonville International Airport! OMG! OMG! You betcha sweet bippee I am doing flips!!

I seriously could not be doing what I do everyday… chasing my art dreams… without the loving support of my family and friends!! From the bottom of my heart… THANK YOU to all who believe in me, who encourage me, and who constantly lift me up!!! Much love to each and every one of you!
