“Sweet Georgia of Mine”
I am in my “cocoon” and loving it!!
Finally putting some finishing touches on the unfinished paintings piled up in my studio AND it feels great!! Here are the 7 minis celebrating my beautiful Grandmother (Georgia) and all of the memories I have of her as a child. Gone but never forgotten. She had a little garden where she planted her flowers and I can still see them as clear as day in my mind. She is always in my heart and I carry her with every brush stroke I make. And sometimes when I close my eyes, I can see her smiling.
Community First “Art in the Branch Exhibition”

I was so fortunate to meet Anne when I captured her daughter’s senior portraits in 2011 and felt a connection with her immediately as we share our passions for our craft, motherhood and well just trying to do it all! We chatted about her art and what she had done in the past during Lindsay’s session but it wasn’t until a little over a year ago that she followed her heart and let her spirit flow to the canvas. Listening to Anne talk about her light bulb moment that life is too short and precious to not go after your dreams and being the real role model to her daughters that yes, you can live your dream and reach for the stars is inspiring. Anne your soul is kind, generous, loving and you are a little firecracker with a huge heart. I am so blessed to have met you and capture you, so thank you!
